Metacognition

Jeanette's teaching approach is rooted in the concept of metacognition, learning-based self-awareness. Often referred to as "thinking about thinking," metacognition helps students understand and take charge of their own learning. Metacognitive knowledge is crucial for efficient, independent learning because it fosters forethought and self-reflection.
